This form should only be used by patients who are 18 years of age or older and who have previously been prescribed Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV by SHiP and who require a further supply.
SHiP prescribes the generic Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 245mg/Emtricitabine 200mg single tablet.
All other users (incuding those under 18 years of age) please contact the health care provider who previously prescribed the PrEP for you or contact SHiP on 01752 431124 to request a consultation with our contraception team.
PrEP does not protect you from other STIs like chlamydia, gonorrhoea and syphilis, and you may wish to use a condom as well. We recommend using a condom with new partners until you have both been tested for STIs.
