At SHiP we are now providing vaccination against Monkeypox virus. This is being offered to gay and bisexual men who have sex with men (GBMSM) who are at high risk of catching or becoming unwell from the virus. Reasons for this may include:
- Having had an STI in the past year.
- Having sex in a sex-on-premises venue (sauna, dark room, sex club, etc)
- Having group sex
- Having ten or more sexual partners in the past year, or three or more sexual partners in the past 3 months
- Taking PrEP
- Living with HIV
