We are a friendly, non-judgemental specialist NHS healthcare team.

SHiP services at Zone and Cumberland Centre are now closed. All work is being coordinated from SHiP Derriford.

This does not mean that The Zone is closed. Please check their website for details of their operating status.

Please do not come into clinic. Walk-in services are not operating.

NHS restrictions to limit the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) mean that we are replacing face-to-face appointments with telephone calls, with immediate effect.

If you have an essential or urgent sexual health, pregnancy or contraception need, please phone our main number 01752 431124 and we will offer you telephone assessment.

Please don’t be late for your appointment – we recommend allowing 30 minutes extra time for late buses or car park queues. If you are more than 10 minutes late your slot will be lost, and you’ll need to rebook.

Please understand that we try our hardest to see you on time, but on occasions clinics run late. If you want to cancel an appointment, please help us by calling the main number above and pressing option 1.

There are ‘walk-in and wait’ sessions at Derriford Hospital and the Zone only (please see specific pages for session times). There is no walk-in service at any of the other clinics.

Free condoms are available at all SHiP sites, or as part of the C-Card scheme at various sites C-Card sites across the city.

We have a zero tolerance policy to verbal or physically abusive behaviour against our staff.
